New Data Protection Regulations

Some information about how we store and process your personal data

The new General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) come into force from May 25th 2018.  As such, we at The Lightworks Clinic take your privacy very seriously and would like to give you a little information on how we keep and use your Data.
Your personal details will only ever contain relevant information to assist with clinical assessment and treatment.
Most records are hand-written, securely stored and only accessible by our clinical team. Any electronically stored data is held, again securely stored, offline on separate hard-drives.  We use some authorised third party services for important clinical services only. This may include Mailchimp for general service information. No such service has access our information for any marketing or sales use.

Sharing of information with any other third parties only happens when authorised by you. Such occurrences may include reporting back to your GP or insurance company and will never be given to any company looking to gain by accessing your personal data.  In addition, we do periodically use your contact details to send you information about new treatments, services, courses and Lightworks Clinic news.

It is a requirement under the new GDPR regulations that you actively ‘Opt In’, in order to give permission for us to continue to hold and process your information as outlined above.   Please click on the link below  …

OPT IN

We would, of course, be very sad to lose you  …

However, under the new Regulations, all clients who have chosen not to Opt In, or who actively Opt Out, will automatically be unsubscribed and their records deleted.

In the meantime, should you wish to discuss any aspect of this procedure please contact us by email (info@lightworksclinic.co.uk) or by phone (07712 778378).
